MLE carry out a large amount of medium scale bridge works in the midlands, specialisising in rights of way bridges and private access projects. We can deliver a wide range of bridging solutions as well as bank stabilisation to solve erosion problems.

MLE have direct access to structural design and architectural companies which can provide individual design solutions for any site.

MLE sources ready made bridges from Uk bridge manufacturers or can design, manufacture and install bespoke units for a specific project. As a company we are quite happy to install bridges made by a third party or an off the shelf specification. We can also use our own workshops to construct access steps, hand rails, landings and support frames.

MLE have machinery available which enables us to install bridges up to 14m in length without the need for access on the other side, over this length we would  need access to both sides due to the working capabilities of available machinery. As a company we can also access enviromentaly sensitive or waterlogged areas using our track laying dumper with a mounted crane to move materials in adverse conditions.

MLE also have carried out renovation work on wood, brick, sandstone and steel bridges. We have access to refinishing services such as sand blasting, powder painting, galvanising, organic metal finishing and on site painting services.
During recent floods we carried out a lot of clearance and maintenance work out on bridges which had acted as dams to the water and held back all the debris. Most sites had very bad access for machinery.
